Most edgelight signs holding suspended panels combines old and new technology.

The old technology is the edge lighting which has been around for many years, which is light transmitted through the edge of glass or clear acrylics via a light source, preferabley hidden.

These signs can look best if text, graphics outline be reversed engraved this allows the escaping lighting to catch the 'edge' of the engraving which then appears to be illuminated.

Upto 60 lumens per watt, rated life of some 50,000 hours operating on low voltage DC power. The electronic driver can be located upto 4000mm from LED fixing stud in a convenient location.

A range of internal edge illuminated signs available, Maintained and Non Maintained
with LED or T2 lamp technology in White, Satin Stainless,Chrome or Brass housing
to hold suspended panels.


Edgelite Universal
A range of sign possibilities from one simple redesigned aluminium extrusion 70mm wide, 95mm high which hides standard fluorescent lamps and control gear, the section contains and captures the light passing it through the inserted acrylic in such a manner that it is reflected outwards to the face, this becomes the light source to back-light the panel.
Sizes are determined by the length of flourescent lamps, currently:
465mm, 610mm, 760mm, 916mm, 1220mm, 1520mm, and 1785mm.

The maximum depth for light transmission using one top lamp is 600mm.

This extrusion allows the flexibility to be used as free standing, wall or ceiling mounted as well as projecting with a special stand off fixing bracket. .


X Blok Edgelite
The new 25mm square extruded satin silver aluminium utilising LED technology, mainly designed for one edge fixing on standard paper lengths: 74mm (A7) 105mm (A6) 148mm (A5) 210mm (A4) 297mm (A3) and 420mm (A2) but other lenghts to special order.

Ultra Thin Case
This ultra slim anodised extrusion is offered in a complete range of standard Illuminated Poster frames single sided and double sided.
A3 and A2 sizes Frame 49mm single sided depth 35mm double sided depth 45mm
A1 and A0 sizes Frame 57mm single sided depth 37mm double sided depth 48mm

All with front easy loading 'snap open/snap close' poster system.

Other section depths available,thinner section profile manufactered to special order to a minimum order quantity of 10 units or more.
