FMX Acrylic
We recommend for general signs where framing is not essential to use rigid rot proof acrylic, sometimes known as Foamex, this is most suitable for any internal or external use, which does not fade like normal painted surfaces and more economical and less fragile than other acrylics such as 'Perspex' and is preferred by many professional sign specifiers as it has a satin finish to the background and therefore eliminates high reflection, which is especially important where bright face lighting or spotlighting is present.

This material is ideal if  unusual shaping is required and is weatherproof to all cut edges.

This material is available in White and a very limited range of colours: Black, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Grey, but from our experience  most use the White and then superimpose the colour they require leaving a White Border if a border effect is required.

Available in 1mm, 2mm, 5mm, 6mm and 10mm thicknesses.

The thinner materials can be fitted without fear of showing ugly surface fixings when using the correct mounting tapes.
